Lunch is on the Town!

The Town of Meggett depends on our wonderful volunteers to help keep roads in Meggett clean and drainage ditches clear of debris.  On this day, our volunteers are placed in teams and work very hard to undo litter that has been tossed without care on our roads and in our ditches.  The result of this type of litter can contribute to water
pollution and road hazards.  Of course litter control is not a one day a year job and all our yearly volunteers are the foundation making the Big Spring Clean possible.

Come out and join us this year, we can put you on a team or a group of 7 -10 people can make their own team.  Last year we covered Highway 165 from the Meggett Town Sign to Metal Trades, Ethel Post Office Road and much of Wilson Road.  Our goal is to add more coverage each year as our volunteer base grows too!

Our winning team last year was the “Son’s of Ditches and Ditch Witches”!

Who will earn bragging rights this year!

*The Big Spring Clean is a great LLCS service hour opportunity
